SmartEngineering OÜ (Estonia, reg. no. EE101547679), hereinafter referred to as “we”, respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national laws.
Data we collect
– Name, email, phone number, delivery address (when you place an order or contact us)
– Technical data (IP address, browser type, cookies)
– Payment information (processed securely by licensed payment providers)
Purpose and legal basis
– Performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – to fulfil your order and deliver goods
– Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – customer support, marketing (if you have consented), fraud prevention
– Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) – newsletter subscription
Data recipients
Licensed courier companies, payment service providers, IT and accounting service providers located in the EU/EEA.
Retention period
Order-related data – 10 years (accounting requirements). Marketing consents – until withdrawn.

Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and to withdraw consent at any time. Complaints may be lodged with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).

Distance Contract
The contract between the buyer and SmartEngineering OÜ is concluded at the moment the buyer confirms the order on the website. The buyer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason (right of withdrawal).
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day the buyer or a third party indicated by the buyer (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must inform us by an unequivocal statement (e.g. email to info@engineering.ee). The buyer may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
If the buyer withdraws, we shall reimburse all payments received, including delivery costs (except additional costs if the buyer chose a more expensive delivery method), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day we are informed of the decision to withdraw. The refund will be made using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction.
Terms of Use
By using this website you accept these terms. We reserve the right to change the content and terms at any time. All intellectual property rights (trademarks, designs, texts) belong to SmartEngineering OÜ or our partners (including Ekinex S.p.A.). Copying or distribution without written permission is prohibited.
Warranty
All Ekinex products come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification or force majeure. Warranty repairs are carried out by authorised service partners in the Baltic states.
Delivery
Delivery in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia is carried out by Omniva, DPD, Itella or Venipak. Standard delivery time 2–7 working days. Delivery cost depends on the distance and order weight and is displayed at checkout. The exact delivery fee will be visible when finalizing the purchase or upon receiving the invoice before payment. Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed over to the carrier.
Returns
Within the 14-day right of withdrawal the buyer must return the goods in original packaging and unused condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, except in cases where the delivered goods are defective or incorrect. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
